Purchasing hardware or subscribing to a service gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Products for their intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
Except as expressly permitted by Grillo Ltd in writing or by applicable law, you must not:
- Copy, clone, or manufacture any Grillo hardware, or any product substantially derived from its designs
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to extract the source code, firmware, schematics, algorithms or detection methods of any Product
- Extract, modify, or reflash the firmware on Grillo hardware, or circumvent any security, licensing or access controls
- Use any Product, or any information obtained from it, to build or train a competing product or service
- Remove or alter any Grillo branding, serial numbers, or proprietary notices
Some Grillo designs and software, including components released through the OpenEEW project, are published under open-source licences. Those components are governed by the terms of their respective licences, and nothing in these terms restricts the rights those licences grant.
User Content
In these terms and conditions, "User Content" shall mean any audio, video, text, images or other material you choose to display on this website or through our services. By displaying your User Content, you grant Grillo Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute it in any and all media.

Our seismic monitoring services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Grillo Ltd does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. While we strive for accuracy in our earthquake detection and warning systems, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy or timeliness of alerts.
You understand that Grillo Ltd's services are designed to provide early warning of seismic events, but due to the nature of earthquakes and technological limitations, there may be instances where:
- An alert is issued but no significant shaking occurs
- Shaking occurs without a prior alert
- The time between alert and shaking is shorter or longer than estimated
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Grillo Ltd, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this website or our services, whether such liability is under contract, tort or otherwise, and Grillo Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this website or our services.
